DILATED PUPILS?

In my Junior year of joining what I like to refer to as the Sybarite Fashion Academy have been fortunate to meet many interesting, talented, and creative artists online who own some of the most breathtaking and beautiful collections of all kinds. Having created or actually filled out information to start a closed group on Facebook called SuperDoll Fans for those of us who photograph our ladies to share with others.

Knowing how the doll community as a whole is a bit “fickle” emotionally at times made it a point to insist the club on Facebook have many administrators. At one point there were more admins than members. It has become a real success and I can honestly say had nothing to do with it.

What I mean in saying this is the group has grown and monitors itself by posting or uploading only photos Sybarite related though a group of us decided it be okay to lift dolls only in FBR Couture. Worried the club could become a sale feed turning off others who may want to join and/or leave because of it. After much thought it made sense to showcase all the beautiful gowns, wigs, dioramas, etc. from our creative members.

Prior too SuperFrock.ltd Charles and Desmond created the SUPERDOLL out of frustration or limitations to dolls they were asked to design for be it commission or contract. It was inevitable the Sybarite doll was only to become their reality soon thereafter.

Fashion Beyond Reason is the finest in Sybarite Couture unless of course you are fortunate enough to own a OOAK Ensemble’. I can’t begin to share my thoughts on the elusive Chalk whites or “Chalkies” as they are more affectionately referred too.

As to not get off topic every now and then when bored, looking to be inspired, or even depressed will click through the many images on photo sites like Flickr to revisit or be surprised to the latest productions and/or creations. Collectors I am honored to call my contacts like this beautiful lady and I don’t mean doll but Nadine Sybarite.

Nadine is but a select few in an elite group of Sybarite doll Collectors. I have always thought and still do those who live by the Superdoll Salon in London have access to such exquisite beauty and creativity. It doesn’t hurt to have a bit of shall we say “security” to afford such luxury.

The only thing green about me is the color of envy, though I strive to own, touch, view, and/or photograph these RESIN Goddess’s have come to appreciate the anticipation and hunt for the ever increasing HUNT for a HOLY GRAIL DOLL or in my case Dolls.

I can hear myself telling my late partner how I only wanted just ONE, no MORE. The infamous declaration everyone who is anyone wanting to own a Sybarite seems to be repeated in all languages of all creeds more so to convince ourselves than those we are trying to promise too.
